Re: cooling issue - the fan can probably move enough air as-is, provided you have all the right ducting. Who knows what Chrysler did back in the day when it was new, but ensuring you have all the air being funneled properly will lower temps quite a bit.
I noticed a 10-15* drop when running at full-tilt in the racecar once I made a scoop to channel air through the radiator instead of "kind of near it."
