Dont let the other suburbanite breeders make you think that you need a 3 row SS Canyonero the minute you hatch spawn. Our CX-5 has been great for 8+ hour road trips with 2 kids, all their crap, jogging strollers, bouncers, packnplay etc all in the back.
I say this from experience. A truck and a compact SUV are the perfect combo for Suburban home owning new (and not new) families.
