I get that there is a niche use case for electrics if you have the cash to burn,  but mowing a decent sized suburban lot isnt one of them.  
Hopefully batteries come down in price over the next few years and they can start making more sense but I dont think they are there yet.

I think this post nails it. I live in a TH so it makes sense with the small yard. I can't see it working well with anything larger.

I think we're in the Tesla era of electric mowers. They're great if you have the cash to spare, but they're not practical for all situations.
