What's the big worry on these? Timing chain issues? They don't chunk cylinder walls or eat bearings do they?

They have already been identified, but it goes into a P-car fund. Rhymes with GT-me RS
It's just a high maintenance car in which every part is several time more expensive than that of a sibling vehicle. But it comes with the territory of having a onetime build car.
Timing belt is due every 35k and transmissions are known weak spots. I'm sure I could putter it along for the next 100k miles ok with no real issues, but what fun would that be for me, or the car?
