Good to see that you are thinking for yourself and not taking (bad) advice. Have some confidence in your direction/decisions and you wont have the peanut gallery constantly chiming in to tell you what you should do.
I dont know a ton about bikes, but what I do know says that the SV650 is the answer to your question.
