From this picture is your lower arm cut, broken, or is that normal? Between the left bolt and hole on the right looks messed up.

weird right? that's stock. i do know honda built the suspension geometry to do some weird stuff throughout its travel, so all i can guess at is that those joints had to be positioned in a certain way to allow the articulation its designed for. here's a better view on another car:
