so now that my struts/springs will immediately bump me out of stock class competition, i decided to say F it and got another set of front camber "crash" bolts. that will take me from about -1.2 max front camber with one set of bolts, to about -2.3, which should be just right for a daily with occasional twisty road romps. earlier on i was told the camber gain would be less, but looks like i got some bad info.

i've got a pretty heinous cold rattle in the axleback muffler from a loose exhaust tip, and the bolt is basically corroded solid so i can't tighten it down further to fix it. attempting to find another OEM axleback, or just deal with it since it goes away when it warms up. fair warning, my willpower sucks so if i bring back an "upgraded" part, my excuse to the wife will have to be epic.

only other complaint, i've found the gearbox really, really does not enjoy being cold. the synchros just like to take their sweet time and the rev hang is awful. that said, once it gets nice and hot its a total joy. very similar to my old 5-speed accord, that car shifted like a dump truck when it was really cold. again, something i'll just forget about when spring and summer roll around but its quite a difference.
