Awesome thoughts! New cars are so incredible with the technology. We also keep lane assist off in the Mazda because it also goes crazy with construction patterns causing changes in the road / highways. It does NOT like that. Long road trips on roads not under construction is really the only place it makes sense to use.
Android Auto / Apple Carplay is indeed game changing. My brother was just griping this morning about Carplay though because Apple doesn't let you use Waze. Android does, and it's amazing.
