Right now I'm thinking I can use an e46 6 speed flywheel since it has an integrated pilot bearing like the e90 and it'll bolt to my crank, combined with a matching e46 pressure plate and an e90 330i clutch disk. Most e90 clutches are 228mm but the 330i had a 240mm like the e46/36.
Then I just need to make a mount to support trans and find a suitable driveshaft. I think my dad has a left over shifter from his 128i that I can use
I hate to ask, but why go through all this pain when the BULLETPROOF ZF trans bolts right up and is available everywhere for $300?
