Yes, during shoulder months when it's not that hot out, forcing some runtime with a lower setpoint for humidity control may be necessary. I'm just making a general suggestion based on ashrae standards that works for a blend of energy efficiency and occupant comfort. It does work if you let yourself get used to it. If you want to be an outlier, I cannot stop you!
