As you said, they tend to have a lot less problems than android phones.  I'm constantly fighting battery drain issues with my 1 year old Pixel on stock android with barely any apps installed.  Pretty much have to keep my phone on battery saver mode all the time now or it wont make it through the work day even.  Combine that with the fact that I half the time don't get pages from work on time or at all and the fucking stock google calendar app ignores event alerts that I have set up about 80% of the time.  I'm just getting tired of fighting with android's bullshit for the sake of extra customization options.  None of this shit was ever a problem when I had an iphone.  The worst problem I had with iOS was the messenger app GUI would get messed up and I would have to restart the phone once every 3 months or so.

Almost definitely going back to an iphone after this phone.  Usually I replace my phone every two years, but I don't even know if the battery is going to make it that long in this one.
