So, I decided on Black Friday I needed to start getting the truck prepped for towing as I plan on being back out on track in 2018. I purchased an Extang Solid Fold 2.0, which is a hard, tri-fold, bed cover. Didn't realize how expensive nice bed covers are...... But, that's why I purchased it on a discount. This was bought from Stage 3 Motorsports and was shipped the same day. Awesome!!
It "was" scheduled to be delivered on Monday. About that.... I got a nice notice from UPS on Monday that the package was damaged and was being returned to the sender. We shall see how that goes. I shall probably call Stage 3 Motorsports and see what they say. Hopefully, they insured it for the full value and I won't have the same issue for the 2nd one.
Other than that I have an appointment on Thursday for the bed to have the standard Line-x'd sprayed under rail.
Only other plans for the truck once that is all done is just basic tow things, nice straps, nice recovery strap, ratchets, nice hitch, and replace the tires whenever they are at the wear bar as they are getting lower. I have a bunch of bungee tie-downs now from the move as well as 3 large plastic bins so all set on that. Anything else I'd be missing for the truck for towing?
