Couple bits of things that help me.  Get one of those rubber "stop" mats for when loading your race car. That way you can drive in and just "stop" when it hits the mark.  Way better than marks on the floor.

Put tint on those windows, especially if you are storing the race car in there long term along with all your tools.

Race Ramps, yeah wood blocks will do but they are heavy and annoying.  Buying a set of race ramps makes your life much easier.  That small "flip out ramp" doesn't work well with our low GTS cars.

Make sure you get a ratchet e-track strap.  I tried the "pull and tight" since they were a lot cheaper. Garbage...

Also if you are keeping all your tools in there, be very careful of your tongue weight.  Those RRs are only allowed 500lbs of tongue weight, and with a 3000lb car + 2500 trailer + 200 in 2nd tire set + 500lbs in tools...well you see where I am getting at.  You knew what you were getting into, so I wont go further, but definitely stop at those cat scales on the way down/back from VIR and check your rear axle weight.

Was going to either do tint or that "faux frosted glass" overlay they sell at Home Depot. I put that on my garage window and you can't see through it, but it lets full light in.

I got the ratchet e-track strap, looks like what I'd strap the car down with but different ends. Going to try loading the car on Wednesday, I think, so will look at the height of everything.

The PO towed a newer Mustang in this trailer and said he thought it felt good with the car as far back as possible - likely to help with tongue weight as he had the same sort of stuff stored in there. He was towing with a 2004ish F150 (single cab, short bed) and I'm guessing that was a concern for him as well - perhaps not as much but still somewhat. Will try to stop and check weight for sure.
