Guess it’s time for the train horn install

Is anyone in MM approved to make a diminished value appraisal? I was quoted $400 for the appraisal by a company I called, they claimed it was a tax deduction but I'm not so sure how that would work (any financial savvy people here that could confirm the appraisal fee is a write-off at the end of the year?). I am going to go by dealerships after the repair and try to get quotes and then ask for quotes if the damage wasn't there, but just trying to cover all bases as I know how insurance companies like to avoid doing the one thing you actually pay them to do.

Dropped the car off at the dealer for minor fixes and then it's off to the body shop while I soak up some sun and take advantage of the open bar of a wedding in Arizona.
