between Jake's 500hp british cottage, Goody's vintage spicy dorito and now this, ya'll need to back off the bath salts up there before someone gets hurt
Y'all used to bust my nuts about "Rex's terrible ideas" but all three of those are worse than anything I've ever dreamed up and I had nothing to do with any of them.
Dave and I have talked about the RS6 on numerous occasions, but in the same way you talk about faking your own death and living on a boat in mexico. It's fun to talk about but you're not supposed to actually do it.
And yet here we are.
I've had lunch and calmed down and it is a very ridiculous car. You can't go WOT for any real amount of time, but the car isn't really crazy about you doing LESS than that when you're moving quickly. Going on/off boost makes the car irritable. I'm glad it's an automatic, I definitely wouldn't be able to keep up with the gear rowing on that car. It has paddles, it doesn't need them. It sounds great, it still looks very nice and modern, I hate the word "sleeper" but it so is. It'd be the perfect car to run drugs in. Big trunk, lots of horsepowers.
And the coolest bit, to me, is how well mannered it was when you weren't thrashing on it. It felt like a very nice upscale sedan, rode every bit as good as the IS250, just with heavier steering. Just burbling along until oh that light turned yellow, but I can make it *stomp*.
Glad someone close by owns it.
