yeah the RS was the same way, party's over at 5k RPM. i'm really enjoying the new powerband, it feels super rewarding to get more the harder you push it.
the K20 has some pretty wild breathing....factory head flows over 300cfm, and i think for reference the BMW S54 does like 260. the more you spin it the happier it is. on stock internals, with a little bigger cam it'll even continue to make power up to 9K.
