I had to call my local dealer's bluff and they came back with a "we have negotiated deals with certain employers, who do you work for?" I got the impression that was how they sold the price to whoever is in charge and/or recorded the sale. I did not trade in a car and I got 2.49% as part of the purchase, but the actual loan is with a local credit union.
I personally think 0% isn't worth fighting for because the prices are already pretty freaking low. 2.5% on a 15k loan amounts to like 50 cents a day in interest.

"Here, at last, is the cure for texting while driving. The millions of deaths which occur every year due to the iPhone’s ability to stream the Kim K/Ray-J video in 4G could all be avoided, every last one of them, if the government issued everyone a Seventies 911 and made sure they always left the house five minutes later than they’d wanted to. It would help if it could be made to rain as well. Full attention on the road. Guaranteed." -Jack Baruth
