unfortunately. i don't think it would be enjoyable for a 6 hour drive with 3 people and a weekend's luggage. i'm not a fan of mini's reliability and the fit is super weak....i'd LIKE 200hp or thereabouts
FiST / 500 / CRZ are all out for the same reason....either too small or 2 doors short
don't take it the wrong way, but i'm not pretentious about cars. everyone my age around here drives either a Responsible Family Car™, a BMW, or Canyonero Quad Cab.....all $40k+ cars. i never gave a shit in my poverty-spec impreza, because i was having too much fun. i picked the cars on that list because i'm already comfortable with the idea of owning one.
OK dingdongs, give me some actual information. how reliable are they REALLY. if i'm picking up a car with some miles, will it have been dumped because the intake is caked shut with soot and throwing a christmas tree of CELs? are the windows going to drop into the doors like the old mk4's? if the seats are plaid, does that mean i can go the speed of plaid?
i've wanted an IS300 since forever, but they're officially getting pretty old now and the mileages seem to be super high. IS350 y u no stik shift
