Induction stoves are pretty pimp. My wife's parents got one when they replaced all of their appliances a couple years ago. They can be fragile though. Somebody slammed down a bottle of liquor on it at a party one night and it cracked to pieces. I don't even want to know how much they spent to fix or replace it.
