In a curious turn of fate, I have an offer on the car that I cant ignore, and assuming all goes well it will be shipping off to a new home next week.
The car's running great, not leaking any oil right now and getting a solid unsolicited offer for a niche market car means I should take it and run before going any further into the rabbit hole. Its been a great car and I'll miss it, despite all the skin lost from my knuckles fixing various leaky seals. Its never let me down and the only CEL in 3+ years was from a stuck open thermostat, so fuck the haters :lol:
Going to go pick up a new golf alltrack in its place. $6k off sticker & 0% financing & warranty. It'll go to APR after the first oil change for a downpipe and tune.
