I believe you should stick to your convictions regardless of appearances or bullshit political procedure.

That's probably why you keep changing your argument... to stick to your convictions that about McCain and BCRA. It makes you look like a fool, but... as you stated... you don't care about appearances.

Where have i changed my argument?

I have stated McCain should have stuck to his word on voting no on BCRA.

We, apparently, disagree that him voting yes on a budgetary procedure was going against that. I believe, as i stated above, he should have stuck with his conviction and voted no because it's a bullshit procedure and, as most senators believe, it was really just a referendum on BCRA. You all believe that it didn't go against that because it wasn't, in the strictest sense, a vote on BCRA. I mean, i guess that's fine, i just think it's a horseshit excuse.

Somehow, you all believe that him voting no, on a bill that isn't BCRA, is somehow coming through on his word. It isn't. It's a different bill. Its a different bill that he nearly voted yes on anyway. It's a different bill that stood a snowballs chance in hell in becoming law. No one should have voted yes and i refuse to grant him credit for doing so. So i don't see where in any of this my position has changed?

I'm all for having an solid open discussion, so there's no need for calling me a fool unless you're going to breakdown some actual reasons why.
