I understand what you're saying. I loved my Avant, and the only reason it found a new home was because an S4 cropped up. Granted a B5 was a different world than a B7.

I cant think of anything I'd like to replace this car with and its been pretty reliable, so I'm doubling down on keeping it for a few more years at this point. Its rare I ride a car down the depreciation curve, but I'm putting my tray table in its upright and locked position and putting on my seatbelt.
