Its still the disco potato K03. I need to keep this thing a little longer to pony up $3k for a K04 kit.
I can get an upgraded HPFP ($650) and APR tune update (I think another $100) - it'll fatten up the midrange over what I have now, the stock HPFP already flows enough at the top end so not much gain there. The car heat soaks something awful in the summertime, it easily loses 20-30hp in summer heat soak vs. wintertime temps. I cant think of anything I'd like to replace this car with and its been pretty reliable, so I'm doubling down on keeping it for a few more years at this point. Its rare I ride a car down the depreciation curve, but I'm putting my tray table in its upright and locked position and putting on my seatbelt. With my wife working downtown and thinking about moving I really dont need 2 cars so I'd be happy to offload the 135 if we move and have no car payments. I also considered selling both the avant and 135 and buying a new golf alltrak, too but I've gotten strangely attached to this stupid avant.
