Here is an example. Just get in and beat it up. These are actually pretty competitive in AutoX as well.

My first rallycross was in one these (I think one older generation).

I find it funny that people who don't have race cars are the ones that suggest off the wall and "odd" choices. :wink: Some of us have seen a lot of this type of enthusiasm for odd ball race cars and watch the inevitable COOL/BROKEN/FRUSTRATED/EXHAUSTED/GIVE UP play it's way through.

Not trying to be a dick here, but Scott and I have the most experience by far and are suggesting cars that are plentiful, lots of them at rallyx/autox/track (think spares!), and are known to be reliable in these situations. Volvos, hyundais, etc sound off the wall and get the attention at these events for being weird and cool to run vs the "everyone runs a miata"; but trust me, you want the car everyone else runs....
