iRacing?
I dug my wheel out of the moving box a few weeks ago and have gotten back into this. Finally taking the time to practice, learn the track, practice in traffic and do some races. It's been a lot of fun for the most part! I've had some technical glitches and only a couple wreck-fests.

I've been driving the Global MX-5 Cup rookie series. I'm not really competitive but getting better each time. I really don't know how some of these guys are 3 and 4 seconds faster at some of these tracks. Sometimes I swear they have to be cheating. It's a fixed setup series and it kills me when I follow someone through a corner and their car sticks and I go sliding off.

One thing I need to do is modify the pedal setup to make it easier to heel-toe. I think the physics overreact a bit to down shifts that aren't perfect rev matches so it seems to be pretty important to make this easier. The pedals are even at rest, so when you press the brake, your foot is behind the throttle instead of even with it.

Also need to figure out how to get my frame rate up. I'm usually in the low 40s but one night it got into the 60s and everything felt and looked smoother including the feedback. I was just watching an instructional video and saw the guy was at something like 160.

Chan - I don't have the Nurburgring so not sure it does you much good. I don't know if they have a preview or something but let me know if you're still interested.

I have a little bit of a rub near lock but if you are turned to lock on a track there are other problems already...
