Jeff...

I just thought I would reintroduce myself seeing as I have been away for some time. I have tried a few times to get back on the forum but it always gets lost in the shuffle. I'd like to actually make it to a few events this year and reconnect with some old friends and make some new ones. Anyway I am a past officer and MM was a huge part of my college experience. In a round about way I met my wife because of MM. I was the resident Mopar junkie and I am still a Chrysler man to a fault as many of the OG's will attest. I am currently the used car manager at my family Chrysler dealership just up 81 in Woodstock, VA so if anyone is looking for a car I'm happy to help, Mopar or no! Lol, like anyone in MM wants a Mopar.

As for what I have been into car wise, my last "build" thread was for my wife's 05 Crossfire Roadster. It got the full treatment of suspension and bolt on power mods and we still have it as summer only toy. But since then I have made a few acquisitions.

I purchased a 1957 Chrysler Windsor from an elderly man in Missouri and my father and I had a grand road trip out to get it and bring it back. I am trying to rehab it and get it on the road as a cruiser. So far I have tidied up the engine and installed an electronic ignition and modern 4bbl carb. I have had a completely custom interior done for it. I also got a set of 17in solid steel wheels wrapped in white wall tires. Other than that is still needs body and metal work done as well as the installation of a complete 4 wheel disc brake setup I have for it. This car will probably get a project thread.

Then I got my hands on a 1962 Chrysler New Yorker which I pulled the big block and trans from and managed to trade for a tattered shadow of a dream car. My very own 1957 Plymouth Belvedere hardtop! Just like Christine!

Now I hate Christine don't get me wrong but I might see this car through. I had tried to sell it to finance other projects but as of now I am holding on to it.

Finally I got the idea in my head I needed a shop truck. Ebay got me fixed up with a 1968 D100 short bed to do the "patina" truck thing that is so hot right now.

Long story short it has turned into a full blow project taking way to much time and treasure form the 57 Chrysler. Currently undergoing an engine and transmission build and body work underway to get it ready for race wars. This one might get a project thread also...maybe...

So anyway that is what I have been up to, I look forward to meeting some of the new folks and seeing some of the old timers!

Oh yeah and the Challenger got another all over paintjob...
