Not gonna lie, pretty nervous about this weekend. If it doesn't go well, odds are it's not making the show and I know I'm not going to take it very well. Aside from getting the rear end on the car back in July I feel like not much has been done. It's always too hot or too cold, too many things going on at the house, too many weekends where just about everything was pushed to "some other time" only to be pushed back again. Hell, I still have a gaping hole in my rear quarter panel from the summer when I was talked out of using bondo and to do it "right". I bought a friend a $250 gas bottle to weld a patch and it simply never got done.
Long story, short: It's going to be REAL tempting to just whip out a credit card and roll the damn thing to a shop if this weekend doesn't go smoothly. I at least want to see the motor in the car at the end of the weekend but I know deep down that's being optimistic and that side of me is never right.
