I'm about to test the customer service of Viridian. My green laser / flashlight / strobe combo I've had mounted on my XDM eats through the expensive batteries like a champion. On or off it doesn't matter...it's done it for a long time too I'm just now getting around to addressing it. So far I called their CS line and it routed me to a voicemail box which doesn't give me a lot of hope.
Edit: And that was easy. Got a human on the phone, no questions asked they are sending me a shipping label to send it back for a chipset upgrade. CS rep said with the upgrade the CR2 battery should last 6-12 months instead of like the 2 weeks I was experiencing. They have a 7 year warranty on these apparently but I have no proof of purchase because it's been forever, they gave 0 f's and said send it back.
