Oh, my brother came by this past weekend with his first firearm purchase - a Winchester model 1873, made in Japan, in .357/.38. I figured he was going to pick up a 10/22 or similar, but we watched a lot of westerns growing up so this makes sense, and lemme tell you what, it's a ton of fun. Fairly quiet, hardly any recoil, and beautiful to hold and manipulate.

We finished a box of Geco .38 off by both getting a little cowboy-action-y to see how fast we could get accurate rounds on target which was pretty hilarious. Really made me pine for something so simple.

neat. I picked up 3 boxes if .357swagnum at wally world today to feed the TRR8, a Levergun was always my "assault weapon ban backup plan". Very 'merican, with good RoF.
