Well don't forget that the next tax free weekend (august, unfortunately) you can get any of this shit tax free:
A good source of lighting (preferably powered by CR123 "10 year" batteries) simply CANNOT be understated as a requirement, not an option for this kind of thing. You won't be able to buy a surefire for 60 bucks but (well maybe you can?) but I love the CR123 battery for powering flashlights.
