I haaaate tracking down coolant leaks. Why do you think it'd be a busted thermostat, is the truck running warm or cold? Unless you see it leaking at the housing, I'm not sure where that theory has any ground.

That leak at the cap is pretty telling, I'd replace it and just see how things go for another week.
Forums said they had same issue and the thermostat wasn't opening/closing properly so pressure was inconsistent in the cooling system. Fixed their issue by replacing it, idk.

My truck runs fine. Warms up fine. Temps fluctuate between 210 and 200. That seems normal though. Truck runs heat perfectly fine. It just doesn't make sense that the cap itself is bad besides the leak. I'm just thinking the system is over pressurized which is a whole other issue. We shall see on Sunday once I drive around with the new cap though. Hoping I'm just over thinking it based on reading so many different things on forums and no one having a concrete answer that works.
