Wow they did a great job and those hands look fantastic. That definitely looks like a pretty big overhaul. I'm in the same boat as you actually, I am properly anal about keeping my pieces as swirl-mark and nick free as I can...to the point where I've found I've adjusted my movements and stuff to avoid nicking them on doors, etc. Especially when you fly as much as I do it can be really hard but I've got it down to a science ha. I do see the allure of a vintage piece, but to a point. Like I personally wouldn't intentionally shell out new-Rolex+ money for an old Submariner with scratches all over the case, but if I could find one that was a safe queen and had natural aging / lume yellowing? Yeah that would be awesome.
