This is our future. Beyond who our president is for the next term this scares me more than anything about America. Why are kids so weak now? Do parents now really not give a shit about raising their kids with grit?

I'll point you to why. It's actually genuinely scary for some students:

Edit: Not to mention how some parents don't even accept their children as they are. Can you not put yourself in a minorities shoes? What if you had friends that you are genuinely worried for? People aren't allowed to be upset?

I get it. People need to relax and stay strong but people can't cry for a bit then move on together? Is that not a thing?

I get that...to a point. I get that people are shocked and change is always scary.

But like I've got friends who are literally and genuinely afraid that some jackbooted brownshirt is going to round them up in the middle of the night and send them off to straight-camp. It's absurd. That shit ain't gonna happen and if it do, I've got a cell phone full of people ready to spit on their hands and hoist the black flag over it. You don't like the result? That's cool. Do something other than be a big tittybaby about it. Write your congressman, volunteer, work to create a proactive environment, one that makes the rights of all americans so entrenched in the fabric of the nation that any attempt to remove them would be the literal unraveling of it. Curling up into a ball and moaning that YOUR statist prick lost and a different statist prick won does no one any good and makes you (the royal you, not anyone specific here) look like a fool.
