Mileage: 59,993
In celebration of the truck turning 60k miles (and also not driving as well as it used to) I spent today getting some maintenance items checked off my list.
Ford claims spark plugs are a 100k item... FlimFlam told me they are not. I was having some weird "vaguely misfire-y" feelings particularly cruising in a higher gear and adding throttle. Kevin > Ford.

Runs way better now. Fun quirk: I ordered 8 Motorcraft plugs through Amazon and they came from a Ford dealer. Opened everything up and there were only 7 (in two boxes of 4). So, had to run to Advance and buy another.
Also did half of the brakes. Had to first buy a bigger jack that could lift the truck high enough, because this thing has some mondo suspension travel compared to a car. Thanks, Harbor Freight.
The front pads were worn pretty thin, and rotors were rusted to the hubs which took some creativity to undo. I used some of my Hawk Bucks (yay, contingency!) and had them send me Hawk LTS pads for front and rear.
This pad was the worst offender:

I have the stuff to do the rears but was running out of daylight and motivation, so I'll get to 'em soon. When I had the truck at Ford for an oil change, they told me the rear pads were lower (by about 3mm) compared to the fronts... so I suspect even more thrilling photos will follow.
