Yeah dunno what people are on about, our S7 and the Note 5 (before wifey dropped it) are awesome. I have used Swype for years and the standard messenging app and it's always been fine. You can uninstall and / or turn off a lot of the bloatware. There are tons of great apps based on whatever you need that are probably the same as they would be on the Apple universe (Waze, Uber, TripIt, Torque, Weatherbug is a good one, MS Office apps, Pandora, Maps is really really good).
