Hmm I don't think so, I remember mine being not cheap and pretty high quality. I think this was the exact one I had:

I've been to their shop, ran their UTEC EMS for a while and actually had a custom dyno tune there for my stage 4 setup on my first WRX. They were cool guys, their shop car at the time was an Elise iirc
