I really want one as a 3rd car. 1st gens can be had for dirt cheap, although they werent great when new and havent seemed to age well. The 2nd gen (2005-2012) seems like a much nicer car. $20k buys you a nice, lower mile S model.

Yeah, I've thought of one as a "someday" replacement for the 328IC, kindamaybe. Although the new(er) truck purchase likely put the kibosh on that for a long while. I really like the 2nd-gen a lot more than the 1st. Maybe give it a few more years and see where those are at price-wise.

And yes, I know my suggestions were out of left field, given our typical recommendations of E36, E46, Miata, S2000, 240, MR2, Corvette and F-Body had all been mentioned in one way or another.
