God I love traveling to places with awesome exchange rates.
I just got back from Cartagena where you get about 3100 pesos to the dollar - lived like a king for a week. Similar plate of food down there? $3-4. Went to a 5 star restaurant that is reportedly up for a Michelin star, had the 5 course chef's tasting menu, home made sangria and bottle of wine, all for four people. $250. Not per person, fucking total. It's amazing and it was easily one the best meals I've ever had.
