And besides I just went through this myself in July. TrueCar "great" price for a brand new CX5 AWD GT with Tech / Nav is $31,033 in our area. That's before tax tags and title and a lot more than what we paid for our RDX with 30k miles. Acuras also generally tend to hold their value better than Mazdas. I'm not saying he shouldn't consider the CX5 because it was okay, but we're comparing new vs. used right now.
