I like your watch. I don't wear mine very much, maybe I just need something cooler that I like. That being said, I see there are "skeleton" watches available, have you seen one of those you like or would recommend? I'm guessing there must be something fatally wrong with the no-name $20 ones on Amazon, but what about like:

And are both of these mechanical self-winders? Do they keep time worth a damn or should I just stick with battery powered ones? I don't want to have to set it every few days.

Thanks man! I am familiar and love the skeleton look. My Oris TT1 diver had a skeleton caseback that showed off a really sweet looking auto movement:

I also have a cheap steampunk-style pocket watch I picked up at the Renaissance Festival one year that has a skeleton front case and back.
I have not heard of BOS before but without digging in too deep it mentions being "WR to 100M" but then tells you not to shower with it or submerge it. I would steer clear just on that conflicting note. Agree with Ken on the fashion companies selling watches, they don't tend to last very long. Depending on how much you want to spend there are some options you could at but I think a good starting point would be something like this:

Skeleton window in the front, skeleton case back, decent WR (so it says, I have had mixed results with Invictas so I probably wouldn't take it scuba diving), nice Submariner look and oyster bracelet and an automatic movement so you just wear it to keep it charged up. And for $100 you can't go wrong.

If you want to spend a little more and get a really great brand with a really great movement, this is probably about as cheap as you'll ever find a Jazzmaster (pre-black Friday sale)

Edit: I saw I missed your note about winding. Most watches nowadays are either automatics (powered and charged by the movement of your wrist) or quartz (battery powered). Automatics generally have a 2 day power reserve at best, so if you don't wear it every day and you don't want to reset it before you wear it, pick up a watch winder and keep it on that. Once you get to the higher end automatics like Oris, Omega, etc. they keep very very good time, but most good ones are going to be +/- 6 or 7 seconds a day. Quartz watches are generally more accurate, but also require battery replacement unless you get an Ecodrive / solar powered watch. Most skeleton watches I have seen are all automatics so keep that in mind when you shop; just check out what the movement is
