The tires thread "So I need tires..."

Well I ordered some Blizzak WS80's in 205/50-17 from Curry's. They have gotten excellent reviews on TR - they are in the studless ice & snow category vs. the performance winter category, but from what I've read they have excellent dry road manners akin to performance winters with no penalty towards their ability to deal with the tough stuff. Curry's price including installation and was just a bit above tires+shipping from TR. I'll hopefully be able to take the stock wheels to them this Saturday to have them mounted, and then they'll be stored until nature calls for them. Spendy, but if they save me from one code-brown moment this winter the outlay will have been worth it.

Good Choice :thumbup: If you have an extra set of wheels it doesn't make sense not to have the best equipment for the weather.

I wish I had an extra set of wheels for the truck so I didnt look like an ignorant NOVA guy in the sand dunes with high-way cruisers...
