A while ago I had checked out uber and lyft, but they weren't in the area. Uber is now in Harrisonburg/Cville, and I signed up for grins. I'm curious if anyone has driven for a ride share, what could I expect on the passenger front? A lot of sketchy requests to stop by the liquor store on the way to Dollar General?
Do drivers get 1099's or something at the end of the year? It looks like it'll take a week or so for the background checks to come in before I can log into the app.
