Why no tint?

I dunno, I just kinda prefer cars without it - looks cleaner, less top heavy? But it's been on the M3 since I've had it and I don't really notice it anymore, so I guess I don't feel that strongly about it. Maybe if the car weren't garaged.

You couldn't have retrofit the OEM power shades? I always thought those were useless until I realized how nice it would be for dogs and babies.

I actually really wanted that option, but it isn't available on full leather cars so you've gotta cut up your fancy door panels to install it. I've looked into retrofitting it, but between sourcing all of the parts (like actually functioning blinds and matching trim pieces: shadowline interior trim, alcantara rear deck for when I mess up cutting mine, button panel with my exact options, etc.), and the cutting/drilling/riveting/epoxying of the install...well I wanted to give these a shot first. I still may do the rear sunshade (only power one, the rest are manual, btw), as the parts are a little more readily available and it looks easier to install.
