Alternator Closure (I hope)

Oh, that Saab.

That was certainly a learning experience for ya, Ian. And for me too.

Had Olympus given him the right part the first time, we would have been done same-day. The extended story is that we discovered there is a different alternator for the hatchback vs. convertible 900's. The 'vert has a larger alternator that puts out more amperage. Well, Olympus seems to have the part numbers backwards in their system as to which one fits which body style, as they gave Ian the "perfect fit" alternator, stamped with the convertible part number. And of course, we only realized this after we put it in and ran into issues.

So, asking for "the convertible alternator instead" for his hatchback worked perfectly

Oh, cars.

I still kinda want a Viggen.
