Already smoking? I'm surprised it took so long.

don't forget the oil cooler you'll want, as well as the new fun cooling issues you're going to run into in hot weather which will necessitate lots of fun ducting and venting (does that fall under aero?). then the stress that extra power puts on a drivetrain (clutch, mounts?), and slowing down from higher speeds means more brake heat, more stress on wheel bearings.
i think that's why its "only" that amount, because they understand you're going to have to fortify everything else on the car to handle more power so the reality is a lot more points involved.
Low boost = almost none of those issues or issues that won't be very much of an issue for cooling according to other folks who have boosted their car. This car keeps very cool when I monitored it at the VIR heat wave event. I have an upgraded RMM, yes I'll have to upgrade the rest eventually. Clutch is proven to be fine for awhile and once it goes after 30k or so I'll replace it with another OEM one. Axles and transmission are fine I'm not launching the car. I have 1.2" bigger brakes all around already so not an issue being 5-10 mph faster in the straights.
I wouldn't be the first boosted mazda3.... These cars can take some abuse and being only 50 more whp than I'm at right now isn't that much... This of course just possible idea like many others that have been produced in this thread. I don't mind replacing things with new OEM parts over time. The parts are pretty cheap lol.
