track day looked awesome! i get a kick out of your average HPDE weekend but brand specific stuff is great for filling your head with bad ideas and lots of contrast/compare nerdery. i'd love to drive Shenandoah someday, every time i watch a video its a little too addicting.

as for the gauge buzz - YES i had this in my A4 1.8T, using an Isspro mechanical in a very similar center vent mount. same deal...it buzzed at certain frequencies and boost levels, no matter if i was at stock boost or on my APR chip. i used this kit to eliminate it effectively:

you can also use either of these more complete kits:

with the mechanicals its most definitely a resonance from the intake tract, just part of the airflow dynamics and completely normal if not a PITA to listen to. dampening that resonance is just a matter of using a filter or chamber to cancel it out.
