I wish the stock launch control in the GTI would fuel-cut just to up the giggle factor.
I tried it once and it just sort of hums at 3k rpms, until you let go of the brake. Unlike the MKV it seems to be smart enough to limit torque initially and get the car rolling without excessive wheelspin, but then it just says "eh fuck it" and lights up those stock all seasons anyway after a second or two.
