My car used 4 gallons. 2 gallons black base. 2 gallons DYC new topcoat. Something like 6-8 bags of atlantic colorshift pearl? I'm not sure on the pearl amount as Scott bought everything.
If you do it yourself it's gonna look like shit at first. Have to take time and practice until it looks better.
Look into Halo EFX and stuff. DYC will be the easiest to do it by yourself. Most dips like Raail, Halo, and that stuff need actual paint gun systems where DYC doesn't and is harder to get right.
Materials alone + prep and gun = $600-800 for DYC stuff. It will be higher for other companies or maybe even similar :dunno:
