Yeah man, as long as you're happy that's all that matters. Personally I'm most interested in that autodip product, I think maybe because orange peel is a common defect in real paint, even from the factory, so if it had a consistent level of gloss, and there was less peel out of a gun vs. a can, then I'd actually be pretty interested in it. It looks like they only plan to offer professional installs and not sell it by the gallon though, so that casts it out right there. I shot them an email anyway to ask about DIY options.
I'm only interested in it as a <$500 temporary color change to have some fun and hide the damage to my factory paint for a few years until I could cough up the cash to have it completely stripped and resprayed the factory color.
I definitely want to see the Raail stuff in person, I have a feeling the obnoxious teal/light blue color I would choose might have less of an issue with the gloss effect than the darker colors I could find photos of.
Roughly how much product did you use on your car? Looks like the Raail stuff is $63/gallon, plus $24 per gallon for the "color drop in" if you want metallic. So pretty much $100/gal.
