Lols. Oldie but goldie.
My first few sessions out there a few people I would catch up then they'd foot to floor it down the straights then I'd catch up and it was a repeating process. Then once they did point me by it was like a drag race. And I was like yup I'm just going to stay behind you until you let off the throttle.
I'm surprised my car did so well with heat too. I guess economy cars that don't give a shit ftw? Hottest temps on track were 195 usually 188ish. Once brought in temps spiked back to 200ish for a bit before I shut it down.
To be honest having an instructor in my car I felt obligated to talk and felt distracted compared to when I was by myself. I know an instructor can give me a sanity check like stated above and I think that would be best
